Well, the dust has settled. The battle raged on into the night. 9 champions battled it out, and in the end, only one was left with all the chips. Sharon won the first annual TOC, defeating me on the last hand with 2 pair. It was a fun night. Lots of great Poker and overall a great time with friends. I want to give a special thanks to Mitch and Courtney for serving as host both this time and all year long. Thanks to the couple of spectators that hung out with us as well.

The first offical year of our league has officially come to a close. I also want to thank all the players who've really made this a great time and successful. I hope you will all join again for more Hold 'em in 2009.

Ron, it's been a blast. Thanks for putting it all together and letting me come to my first game last January. Thank you, Fairchilds! And thanks to everyone for taking that fudge off my hands! :-)
UUUUhhhhh....that was fudge? I thought it was beef jerky...
Ooh, you must've gotten the leavings from the bottom of the container...I find doing the dishes to be unnecessary, much like bathing daily.
